I purchased this drive to work with my netbook and I am very pleased. The MySuite software is very robust and works like a champ. I have always preferred Lite On products as their quality through the years has been top notch. I used to work at a PC manufacturer and we used all Lite-On drives in our computers because the DPPM levels were significantly lower than drives from others like Samsung and Asus. I would recommend this drive because if the quality.

THis is the second external DVD that I have purchased recently. The first one was from Asus and it didn't work well. The disk didn't seat correctly and thus I had all sorts of issues. It's a DVD-RW, it should just work. I picked up this model from Lite-On and it works great. Plug it in and it does just what it is supposed to do. I haven't played around with the software that comes with it but if that's what you're looking for, it seems to be an added bonus. Not a ton of frills to this drive but it's small, it works well and that's all I can ask for.
